Letter From Consul

Serving as Consul of the Gamma Theta Chapter of Sigma Chi is a responsibility I do not take lightly. Leadership demands results, accountability, and a relentless commitment to excellence. It is those principles that guide everything we do as a chapter.

Since 1924, leaders of men have walked the halls of 611 Fraternity Drive with a shared purpose: to build something greater than themselves. That standard has not changed. What has changed is the opportunity before us. Today, Sigma Chi at the University of Florida stands poised to raise the bar even higher-academically, philanthropically, and culturally.

Our chapter continues to lead from the front. We are setting ambitious goals, including raising $100,000 for the Huntsman Cancer Institute through Derby Days, while demanding excellence in the classroom and strengthening a brotherhood rooted in discipline, integrity, and service. These outcomes are not aspirations-they are expectations.

None of this is possible without the foundation laid by those who came before us. Their leadership built the chapter we inherit, and it is our responsibility to protect that legacy while advancing it. I am committed to developing men who lead with character, act with conviction, and leave Sigma Chi stronger than they found it.

With clear standards, unified leadership, and brothers who hold one another accountable, I am confident that Gamma Theta’s best years are still ahead.
